Who Owns Your Data? Abbott Diabetes Care has sent a Cease & Desist letter to Github over code that allows patients to obtain their Blood Sugar data – and export it to another app – something Abbott Diabetes claims is copyright infringement.

DMCA’d! RIAA Takes Down YouTube “Converters”

The RIAA has delisted five YouTube “Converter” websites from Google using the DMCA Anti-Circumvention “Takedown” provisions of the DMCA (17 USC 1201 et seq.) See https://www.copyright.gov/1201/2018/ for Librarian of Congress Exemptions.

The ENTIRE Music Industry sues ISP Charter Communications for BitTorrent File-Sharing

The Music Industry, led by Warner Brothers, is suing Charter over DMCA Safe-Harbor allegations that Charter failed to enforce a termination policy for repeatedly infringing users. Magistrate Judge Michael Hegarty from Colorado makes his Recommendations in favor of the Labels.
