Biggie Smalls Transforms Copyright Fair Use

The Notorious BIG is back to teach us about Copyright Transformation. Christopher Wallace’s estate (and others) were sued for infringement of The Last Poet’s lyric “party and bull . . .” in “When the Revolution Comes” from 1968. Let’s see why Biggie’s use of the phrase is a “quintessential fair use”.
