Wells Fargo sued for Closing Fraud Victims’ Accounts and firing Whistleblower

A lawsuit has been filed against Wells Fargo for yet another kind of fraud. This time, the bank is accused of closing customer accounts without investigating reported fraudulent activity and refusing the pay back the money. Worse, they allegedly mistreated and then fired the whistleblower who had the courage to internally report the problem.

Florida Makes Felons “Kneel” to Vote

A District Court in Tallahassee recently found Florida’s Felon Voter Re-enfranchisement scheme unconstitutional in that Gov. Rick Scott has “unfettered” and “arbitrary” control over who gets their right to vote restored.

The court found that many felons were granted their vote just because they agreed with Gov Scott, while others who were otherwise eligible were denied because they had spoken against the Governor.
