Fake Experts?! Defense Atty uncovers False Declarations in File Sharing Cases

Martin Skhreli sentenced to 7 years, forfeits $7 million

“Pharma Bro” Martin Skhreli was convicted of securities fraud, sentenced to seven years in jail, and ordered to forfeit $7,360,450.00, including his one-of-a-kind Wu-Tang Clan album “Once Upon a Time in Shaolin”.

ZombieGoBoom’s Case Goes BOOM

Our hopes for a court’s intervention in the #adpocaylpse were dashed when the Judge in the ZombieGoBoom case dismissed the entire matter after considering both parties’ positions.

The Judge said that the YouTube Terms of Service are clear and unambiguous. Ambiguity or worse would be required to find that the Terms are either unconscionable or in breach of the implied covenant of good faith.

Alex Jones’s Infowars sued over Pepe the Frog poster sales

Matt Furie, creator of Pepe the Frog, has alleged that a poster created/sold by Alex Jones’s Infowars is an unauthorized use of the character and, therefore, copyright infringement.

Let’s review both the copyright infringement claims as well as jurisdiction, or why Furie thinks he can sue a Texas LLC in California where Furie resides.
